Our timetable is flexible to ensure that the spontaneous needs of children can be addressed/incorporated in our provision for play.

book corner includes storytelling houses, soft toys, puppets and puppet theatre, outdoor book box.
Puzzles:
trays include slot and jig
saw puzzles, large outdoor foam jigsaw.
Role-play
house with kitchen, ironing board, clothes airer, telephones, dolls and accessories.
House periodically changed to theme such as shop, post office, garden centre, hospital.
Role-play outdoor play shed includes tool bench with tools and barbeque with food.
Fine motor trays:
activities such as threading, pegs, links, geoboards.
Construction trays:
activities such as duplo, stickle bricks, lego, wooden bricks, magformers, k'nex.
Small World trays:
activities such as train set, village, airport, castle, house, dinosaurs, space station, zoo, farm.
Interactive whiteboard
with Internet access (parental controls enabled) and various educational programs.
Mathematics trays:
activities for counting, sorting, size, number, shape, measuring, pattern, money and time.
Understanding the World trays:
activities such as magnets, mirrors, magnifying glasses, bug boxes, cogs, programmable robot (Bee-bot), remote control cars, easi-phones.
Graphics trays:
indoor trays hold paper, card, envelopes, pencils, crayons, felttips, tracing, rubbing, stencils, games to promote language development, scissors, collage and junk-model materials, joining and fixing materials, whiteboards and pens.
Outdoor trays hold chalk, pencils, crayons, paper, glue sticks, scissors.
Malleable/Creative table
- variation including malleable materials, modelling, gluing, cutting, painting, printing, sensory, cooking, woodwork.
Easels
- various painting activities, chalks, crayons, pastels, charcoals.
Natural materials
- sand and sand toys, water and water toys, pasta, rice, goop, outdoor digging pit. Wednesday afternoon Forest School.
Writing opportunities
- graphics trays, notepads, role-play register, clipboards, outdoor blackboard.
Physical activities:
trikes, balance bikes and scooters, woodland climber, spinning tops, balls, gardening, tyres. Other activities include hoops, foam javelins, quoits, foam discs, tents and tunnels, large bricks, crates and planks.
Visits to village playpark, school playing field. Monday morning gym with use of school gymnasium.
Healthy snack:
children wash their hands, choose where to sit, what they would like to eat and drink - practising cutting and spreading skills.

Tidy up time
Put on music to allow children to finish activities or to start to help to tidy up. Encourage all children to help to pack toys in appropriate places.
